*beware from poor hygiene* I found a hair in my pastry so I asked for a new one. The waitress then came back with a new pastry but said that the other pastry had no hair in it, but it was sugar (I can distinguish between the two so didnt appreciate her comment). A minute after, my mother found a hair in her cake which clearly wasnt hers as the long hair was blonde and her hair is dark. We informed the employee but she didnt offer to refund us. Bad service, bad desserts, I would definitely not recommend that place!

Nice little cafe to grab a sandwich or daily soup, or an afternoon sweet/ savoury snack. We had a very late lunch there when most pub kitchens were closed on a Saturday. Seemed like a popular place for the locals in Amersham Old Town.
Met up with my sister for a chin-wag. Nice coffee, food and staff helpful and cutomer-friendly. Would give it 5star but there was food on the counter not covered up, I did point this out to member of staff still not covered up when we left, but it seems like a place where they will deal with it.
Great food in a charming town. We didn't see any McDonald's in Amersham so expected to pay more than we'd have paid for a Big Mac. That said, the food was delicious. My wife had the soup of the day: courgette, lentil, and coriander. It was served just the way she likes it: piping hot and with a generous portion of bread. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich which came with chips and green leaf salad. The servers were friendly and attentive. We arrived about 1.30 and there was only one table in the front half of the caf available so that shows it's popular.
