Friendly pleasant staff, stopped for a wee dram-if busy(pub)-there's always a friendly welcoming atmosphere
Decent pub, Guineas is decent food was obviously frozen (pizza), mine was caked in sweet chilli sauce, my friends was over cooked (how do you over cook a pizza!? Came here to meet a mate and watch the Joshua fight. Nice little pub but avoid the food (go somewhere else first like we should have).
Normal pub in the local area, close to the big Amersham Tesco.
A 'local oriented' pub with smoking area outside together with a new beer garden, which is little used. Conversation impossible while the football is on due to multiple screens and a hysterical level of excitement. Outside of football times, atmosphere is pleasant.Beer prices are an issue - non-locals are charged a premium price. Reasons for this price discrimination are unclear. A pint of San Miguel is nearly 5 (non-local price). Typical range of beers available. Unsuitable for real ale connoisseurs. Toilets are reasonably clean and well ventilated. Unsure about the accommodation as have not stayed here but local hearsay suggests that the rooms are somewhat cramped.
Great place to have a pint and a steak sandwich.The owners are lovely and great fun to have around.Deffinetly goining back soon.
