I really can't fault the chips. I had big fat chunky chips last night and they were as good as the fries I had before. The quiz remains a bit chaotic but a reasonable night out with friends. The Rioja is very quaffable.
Eclectic crowd. Good beers and wine list. There is a classic bar area which sometimes has live music. You can dine in the bar or the main restaurant area. Classic pub fare, burgers, pizza oven and a tapas menu. There is also garden for when the weather is better.
Lovely food, cheerful friendly staff. Charming location.
I received the warmest of welcomes here. When I enquired about food, I was told of the couple items they'd sold out of, and reassured that I'd find something else I'd like on their menu - which I did! I'm very much looking forward to visiting again.
Lovely pub, with a good selection of ales. Three well made dinners saw us well fed in in a timely manner. Very friendly staff and a lively atmosphere makes this a pub we'd come back to.
