We had a roast dinner and it was lovely. The service was fantastic. We really had a great time.
Waited over an hour to get our starters and almost another 40 minutes for main course. My chicken skewers starter was super dry and probably not edible without the cream cheese side to wash it down. The kofte main course that somebody else in our party had was tasty but 15 is a lot to pay for what was effectively a starter sized portion at any other restaurant. Won't return which is a shame given it has a lovely venue. In fairness, the manager deducted the starters from the bill.
Christmas dinner here, worst dinner ever! Beef wellington looked like a pie and the beef was tough! Not only this but the roast potatoes looked like boiled potatoes not crispy at all!!! For 70 a head it was awful. The veg were not cooked. No condiments served with food. Gravy looked like water. Was it a chef even cooking? Im not sure
Delightful experience at The Pomeroy, the pub restaurant has a nice ambiance, you are greeted with an warm open fire. There is plenty of space which is comfortable for dining. There are good menu options at great prices. The food tastes good, I had from the Specials Menu.Recommendation: the mini dessert and tea is really good. They arent mini! Enjoy
Amazing food. The six of us all ordered different mains and desserts and every dish was amazing. The fillet steak was pricey but worth it. The only negative was that a brand new drinks menu was introduced but the bottled beers were not yet available but there were others to choose from. Overall extremely happy.
